My name is Collette Martin and I am based in Forest Row, East Sussex. I have been practicing Reiki for over a decade. I am trained in Usui Ryoho Shiki Reiki at Master level for humans and animals.

 

Looking to further my knowledge and experiences with animals, I studied for a diploma in animal healing with the Healing Animals Organisation and qualified in 2016. The course covered animal healing, anatomy and physiology of small animals, diet and nutrition, animal behaviour and bereavement.

 

I regularly volunteered at the RSPCA offering Reiki to rescue dogs. It was here I gained valuable experiences from the dogs, giving me further depth and understanding.

 

As an animal and human Reiki practitioner member of the UK Reiki Federation, I am bound by codes of ethics and standards of practice - this includes meeting the National training standards for animal Reiki. You can find me listed on their website.

 

During the pandemic in 2020, I became a practitioner for Reiki Medic-Care. This is a non-profit organisation providing remote Reiki to National Health Service healthcare professionals in the UK. Reiki Medic-Care also gather data to support research into the effectiveness of distant reiki as a recognised complimentary therapy. I am proud to be supporting the NHS and Reiki research.
